THERMAL CURE CENTER
It is the division of thermal tourism i establishments where diagnosistreatment units are located and cures are administered. Units of cure center can be listed as follows:

1. ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES
It is the division where the services related to food, beverage, accommodation, entertainment and other social needs are rendered. This division may be both inclusive of cure center and also separate from but integrated with the cure center. Accommodation facility should be directly connected to the cure center through closed passages to be considered as a hotel, apart-hotel or thermal facility.

2. CURE CENTER
It is the division where the diseases are diagnosed and the treatments take place under the control of senior physicians and teams, using the healing effect of thermal water. Besides balneotherapy applications, physical, treatment and other additional applications should also exist in a cure center.

3. RECREATION AREA (CURE PARK)
It is the area inclusive of the units where the guests of thermal facility can spend their spare times through several activities. Various service units, whose number can be increased parallel to the size of the facility and which contribute to the input of the facility, like outdoor and indoor sporting fields, walking courses, tea gardens, game-TV halls, concert hall, shopping centers and open and closed swimming pools can be located in such area.

For thermal tourism investments, primary establishment expenses are higher than other accommodation facilities. However, each service rendered for treatment purposes provides that the facility makes an additional gain. Because health tourism provides a gain that is two or three times of ordinary tourism. Besides the people accommodating in and benefiting from the cure centers of the facility, the daily guests of the facility coming for using the cure center and recreative purposes are also an income source for the facility. For this reason, although primary establishment expenses are high, thermal facility investments are productive investments that compensate the expense in a short period of time. Thermal tourism centers are both similar to and different from other classic accommodation facilities in some aspects. The most apparent feature of thermal centers is that they are associated with thermal water. The client profile of thermal centers is also different from other accommodation facilities. Such facilities serve both to the people who seek for a healthy life and healthy tourists aiming to have a nice holiday. Consideration of spas as thermal tourism in the real sense regarding domestic and external tourism is possible through overcoming the handicaps on three important dimensions of this issue.
