TERMS & CONDITIONS

DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT : A deposit of (% 25) of travel cost per person is needed to hold a reservation. This deposit forms part of your final payment which is due 45 days due prior to departure, the land portion of your booking is canceled automatically. Bookings made within 45 days departure must be paid in full at the time of booking. RESERVATIONS : Should be made no later than 45 days prior to departure, later bookings must be approved in advance. All departures are quaranteed after Lokomotive Travel & Yachting written confirmation. CANCELLATIONS : Notice of cancellation must be made in writing directly to Lokomotive Travel & Yachting. Additionally the following scale of charges will apply when cancellation notice occurs within 45 days of tour departure. Cancellation no. days before tour departure . Charges as a percentage of total service price . 45 – 28 25 % 27 – 14 45 % 13 – 3 75 % Later Cancellations & No Show 100 % MEDICAL CANCELLATIONS : If illness precludes travel, the traveler must obtain a medical certificate from their physician attesting to their illness and present the certificate along their refund request. Lokomotive Travel & Yachting will refund all savings possible ( i.e all moneys paid less any additional fees assessed by outside suppliers such as hotels, bus transportation companies and handling fees, insurance costs / fees ) INDIVIDUAL ARRANGEMENTS : All cancellation penalties applying to “ land only ” tours plus penalties applicable to the special airfare included in your tour. See your travel agent for details. REFUNDS : No refunds can be made for unused portions of any tour. REVISION FEES : A handling fee of 15 % per transaction will be charged for any alteration or revision made to a booking, after confirmation. RESPONSIBILITY : Lokomotive Travel & Yachting of Fairfax, is responsible for making arrangements for the tour services offered in the attached programs to include transportation, sightseeing, and hotel accommodation. The carriers, hotels and other suppliers providing tour services are independent contractors and are not agents, employees or servants of or joint ventures of Lokomotive Travel & Yachting or its affiliates. If the services included in the tour can not be supplied or if there are changes in an itinerary for reasons beyond the control of Lokomotive Travel & Yachting, the company will arrange for provision of comparable services. Any resulting savings will be refunded by Lokomotive Travel & Yachting to the traveler. Lokomotive Travel & Yachting reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant, to expel any tour participant from the tour, to make changes in the itinerary or services whenever the company deems it necessary to the comfort, convenience or safety of the tour participants; and to cancel a tour at any time. If Lokomotive Travel & Yachting cancels a tour, the Company has no responsibility beyond the refund of all moneys paid to the company by the traveler. The tour participant agrees that neither Lokomotive Travel & Yachting nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss ( including personal injury, death and property loss, ) delay, change air services, sickness, strike, war, quarantine or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing tour services or any other person. Only Lokomotive Travel & Yachting representatives, who posses written authority to do so, may vary, add or waive any term or condition in this contarct, to include terms or conditions set forth in the preceding provisions. SMOKING : There is no smoking while in vehicles operated by Lokomotive Travel & Yachting. Frequent stops are made so that smoke breaks may be taken outside vehicles. YOUNG TOUR PARTICIPANTS : Children under 5 years of age and unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 can not be accepted on these tours. PASSPORT / VISA : You will need a current passport which will be valid until you return home. Please contact your destination country`s nearest consulate for updated details on visa requirements.
